The Dry Brush family includes brushes designed for the dry brushing technique and are represented by a glossy black stripe at the tip of the handle.
The dry brushing technique involves loading the brush with a minimal amount of paint and then removing the excess on a cloth or paper before applying it in light strokes over the edges and raised areas of the miniature. By applying paint with a dry brush, details and textures of the figure, vehicle, or accessories are highlighted, creating a shading and depth effect.
